Non-Exempt GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The individual in this position will support the Infusion Intake Process.
This person will collaborate and support the Revenue Operations Lead and Manager by ensuring the thorough and accurate processing of referrals, authorizations, and insurance eligibility verifications.
The individual is responsible for prioritizing, organizing, and completing assigned responsibilities and tasks in a timely manner.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Maintain triage responsibilities by reviewing and sorting incoming faxes and emails, and streamlining these to the appropriate team members Communicate with patients and providers on obtaining missing information necessary to complete the referral process; Obtain and upload patient demographic information Respond to high volume inbound calls while compassionately handling questions/concerns Route calls or messages to appropriate office and clinical staff for proper triage Answer patient's questions regarding coverage, co-insurance/deductible responsibilities Obtains and updates patient account information as needed for resolution of inquiry Complete follow-up tasks as assigned.
Assure work is completed in a timely manner to prevent delays in patient care Performs other related duties Navigate all patient records and facility schedules Maintain HIPAA compliance in all aspects of work
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of the referral process and/or specialty drugs is a plus Ability to manage high call volume and high stress situations Desire to exceed customer service expectations Experience working in a fast paced, customer driven environment Understanding of general medical terminology/process Demonstrable use of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) Preference of 1-year experience in customer service or front desk in medical office All qualified applicants will be afforded equal employment opportunities without discrimination because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability or marital status.
