This is a part-time position.
Liv Breads is a high volume production kitchen.
Our pastry bakers work on products that are sold at our two retail locations, as well as to wholesale accounts.
Potential to be cross-trained on Viennoserie.
We are hiring for a specific, part-time, schedule:
Thursday - Monday 7 am - 3 pm
Responsibilities:
Scale, mix, bake cakes and cookies Prep double-baked croissants Bake a wide assortment of product in the rack oven Finish products post-bake Perform a quality assurance on products post-bake Organize product for delivery to Liv Breads' retail locations Assist with tray-up for next day's products Maintain overall cleanliness of the bakery and compliance with all health department regulations Work collaboratively as part of a team of pastry cooks, bread bakers, Cold Line prep cooks Ensure quality standards and overall product consistency Requirements At least 1 year as a baker or pastry cook Set schedule, covering weekends Highly dependable, motivated, organized, mature, neat, and team-oriented Passion for the art and science of pastry Rack oven experience preferred Culinary degree preferred Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand on your feet for an extended period Salary is commensurate with your experience, specifically working with scratch, artisan baking.
